Registration for Current Students

Dear Parents and Gradians,

Greetings and blessings be upon you.

We extend our sincere congratulations on successfully completing another academic year (2022/2023) at Meezan School. The past year brought numerous challenges due to the high inflation and ongoing financial struggles. Additionally, the school has been facing significant pressure due to inadequate funding, primarily resulting from several parents falling behind on tuition fees.

In light of these circumstances, the management and finance committee of Meezan School have been compelled to implement drastic measures to ensure the continued operation and existence of the school. We would like to draw your attention to the following IMPORTANT information regarding the updated school policies and procedures:

  1. The start of the new school year 2023/2024 is scheduled for Tuesday, 5th of September, 2023.
  2. The school’s operating hours will be as follows: Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 3:20 PM and Friday from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM.
  3. On Fridays, students will attend Friday prayer and will be dismissed thereafter. We Kindly request parents to personally collect their children from the classroom on this day.
  4. Registration for the upcoming academic year at Meezan School remains open for current students until July 31, 2023. Parents must complete and submit a registration form, accessible on the School website, along with the requisite registration fees.
  5. The registration fee is $200 per student per year. This non-refundable fee is intended to cover the expenses associated with learning materials, textbooks, printing, and other related costs.
  6. Kindly note that the payment of registration fees must be made via E-transfer (finance@meezanschool.com) before July 31, 2023, to secure admission approval.
  7. For the upcoming school year, the monthly tuition fee is set at $375. An additional 10% discount will be applied to each subsequent sibling.
  8. Those in need of financial assistance can request a bursary by submitting a bursary application form, accompanied by all the necessary supporting documents. The application form can be obtained from the school website.
  9. Students will receive an acceptance email in August 2023, outlining their approved tuition fees. Parents or guardians are required to sign an agreement with the school, committing to regular payment of these fees.
  10. Students with outstanding payment or unsettled balances will regrettably NOT be granted admission or secured spots for the upcoming school year 2023/2024.
  11. We are pleased to announce the reintroduction of the pizza lunch program for the upcoming school year.
  12. Parents or guardians are strongly encouraged to make every effort to attend any school meetings when requested.
